Vietjet of Vietnam, also called "Bikini Airlines", will soon start direct flight operations in India.

Vietjet announced the plan to add India to the Vietnam-India Business Forum on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of India-Vietnam diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Airlight will begin between Vietnam and Vietnam's capital Ho Chi Minh City and New Delhi every flight between July and August 2018 a few weeks.

The carrier was awarded "Best Places to Vietnam" and "Best Employer Brand Asia Award 2016" for years to come.

Veetjet earned the grandeur of "Bikini Airlines" in 2012, after which he started publishing the annual calendar of bikinis model ready as a flight attendant, pilot and ground staff. This move generated many controversies but also ensured that the airline became known all over the world. The airline has also organized a fashion show in foreign countries, which have swimwear suit models and beauty contestants' flights.

While the airline was fined for conducting mid-air show for air safety, its methods were not cured and continued to show such shows. But Vietnam's first woman billionaire and Veetjet founder Nguyen Thi Phuong Tho defended the calendar and fashion shows claimed that they "empower images in Vietnam's orthodox culture".

International low-cost airlines currently operate in places of Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Myanmar, Cambodia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The airline has a fleet of A320 and A321, the airline was named "The Best Asian Low-Cost Carrier" in one of the top 500 brands in Asia 2016 and at the TTG Travel Awards 2015.
