Emergency imposed for 10 days in Sri Lanka

The situation of unrest was born after killing a person and setting many businesses of the Muslims here. Curfew was imposed here due to this unrest. At the same time, the statement issued by the police said that "the government appeals to all parties, especially the common citizens that they show some responsibility and remain calm. It has been said by the police that there have been riots in candy since last week and the series of arson continues. Conditions had worsened in Candy at that time when a person of the injured Sinhalese community died during the riots last week. Candy is the first place in Sri Lanka where religious tension is found.
